One phenomenon all ponerogenic (evil) groups and associations have in common is the fact that their members lose (or have already lost) the capacity to perceive pathological individuals as such.
Andrew M. Lobaczewski, Political Ponerology
For the last eight years the United States of America has endured the reign of an Imperial President, a unitary executive who is most certainly a certifiable psycho-path.
President Bush's pathologies - egotism, narcissism, moralizing, double-think, avoidance, denial, information restriction, messiah (and martyr) complex - should exclude him from public office in a sane world.
And because the President, his fellow psychopaths and sycophants have been allowed by 'the people' in a great democracy to pursue illegal, immoral and irresponsible policies of murder, mayhem and common thievery, there is only one conclusion which can be drawn.
The United States of America has succumbed to evil and must be killed.
Truly, it's not Bush is evil, but that he is sick. His worldview is skewed by his pathologies.
Inherited and acquired psychological disorders and ignorance of their existence and nature are the primal causes of evil.
There is no evil in nature. Indeed, evil is a perversion of nature.
And there is no big battle between good and evil in the universe so effectively used by Hollywood, politicians and religions.
Evil comes into the world through 'man' each and every time. "The devil made me do it," is the raving of a lunatic.
Evil comes into the world through the psychological disorder of human beings.
The scope of evil does not respect any boundaries of race, doctrine, or ideology. All races carry the genes, and all schools of thought are susceptible to their influence. These pathological factors that influence behavior form a complex web. It is only in such a web that the "environmental evil" wherein circumstances can influence a normal person to commit harmful acts can be understood.
It is this environmental evil which permeates the United States now and which allows America to continue to perpetrate evil in the world without a countering authority. It's the Good German theory and unless 'the American people' step up to the plate and act like a 'people' they are in real danger of losing their nation.
It's only a very small percentage of the population which acquires psycho pathologies to the point of a psychological aberration that generates evil behavior.
The magic number of 6% seems to represent the number of humans who either carry the genes responsible for biological evil or who acquire such disorders in the course of their lifetime. This small percent is responsible for the vast majority of human misery and crime, and for infecting others with their flawed view of the world.
Your family may be dysfunctional but it's probably not crazy.
The problem comes when we let one of these sick individuals take a political (or religious, or corporate or military) leadership role. "The People" become swept up with the diseased mind of a 'great leader' who is nothing more than a spellbinding megalomaniac with esteem issues.
How else can one account for George W. Bush, the greatest war criminal of his generation?
Impeachment is like a slap on the wrist for this guy.
And yet, there is no clamoring for even a slap on the wrist. Sure, there are lonely voices in the wilderness out there on the fringe where the buses don't run, but there is no clamoring. There is no groundswell. The American People either don't care or do not feel empowered. Either way it is an American tragedy and legacy that a clinically and acutely diseased mind and brain was thrust into the White House by those who are interested in promoting evil and 'the people' were either helpless to prevent it or in agreement with the insane policy.
The men who thrust Bush into the White House certainly understood his pathologic dysfunction. The "crazies in the basement," the neocon-fascist-zombie-brigade knew Bush was a walking time bomb who only needed his fuse lit to let his dark side take full reign.
They have gotten everything they wanted and more. And it certainly wasn't peace, prosperity and progress.
America has gone rogue. Almost everyone in the nation agrees we are "heading in the wrong direction" and yet only a small pittance aver to take action against the Captain of the ship. Bush has taken us rogue. As 'the decider' his personal insanity has veered us into national behavior that has damaged the country for generations unless he is repudiated with prejudice.
And yet - the silence is deafening isn't it?
The "world" (meaning governments of the world) has decided to hold it's breath until the criminal Bush regime is gone and hope Obama restores "realism" to American policy. It's not about change but getting back on track after the radical changes brought about by Bush/Cheney paranoia and vainglory.
Cheney's 1% Doctrine where you preemptively attack someone if there is a one percent chance he might attack you, is insane.
The Bush Administration will go down in history as an evil regime.
But what about the American People who enabled this regime and refused to bring it to justice? And certainly, the American People were lied to (impeachable offenses) and thus thwarted in our ability to direct our elected representatives to advise the President and withhold our consent when necessary and even bring the Executive branch to Constitutional justice when warranted.
In real terms, isn't the Congress us?
And yet?
How will history judge us? Will they take into account the array of psychological weapons used against us? Will they forgive our conditioning? Will they appreciate the power of propaganda and Big Lies and something that changed the course of human history - television.
Will historians put us in the context of other peoples dominated by tyrants to the point of criminal complicity and inhumanity to man? Will they acknowledge the policies to dumb-down populations and control us with shock and awe and seduce us with bread and circuses?
Will they examine the Tower of Babel effect which prevents us from understanding each other and keeps us always wary of 'the other'?
Because Humans are one race it would seem that division between us is artificial. And it would seem divisions are perpetuated purposefully in order to keep us from hammering our swords into ploughshares. Reaping the 'peace dividend.' Celebrating our commonality and individuality. United. Again. As we were before the gods separated us, according to myth, because we were becoming too strong to be controlled by fear and contrition.
What else can explain George Bush? Do you think in the America of your mothers and grandfathers that 'the people' would have stood for a government that lies to its citizens as a matter of policy, circumvents the Constitution and commits crimes against humanity in the name of freedom? Not to mention egregious profiteering cronyism.
So why do we? Why do we allow something we all know is wrong? Have we become the proverbial "good American"? Are we so dazed and confused we don't know what to think?
Or is it something else? Have we become the closed eyes, ears and lips on the face of evil?
